When it comes to water filtration, quality, safety, and performance are non-negotiable. At Rajah Filter Technics, we are committed to developing advanced filtration solutions that meet internationally recognized standards and provide consumers with confidence in the quality of their drinking water. Our carbon filtration products have successfully undergone rigorous testing in accordance with NSF/ANSI standards, demonstrating outstanding performance in reducing PFAS, VOCs, and cyst contaminants.

Proven PFAS Reduction Performance

PFAS (Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances), often referred to as “forever chemicals,” have become a growing concern due to their persistence in the environment and potential health impacts. To ensure effective protection against these contaminants, our carbon filter was tested according to the requirements of NSF/ANSI 53, one of the most respected standards for drinking water treatment systems.

The testing confirmed that our carbon filter successfully met the stringent PFAS reduction requirements specified under NSF/ANSI 53. The standard requires the permissible effluent concentration to remain below 20 parts per trillion (ppt), and our filter demonstrated compliance with this critical benchmark. This achievement highlights our commitment to providing filtration solutions that address modern water quality challenges.

Compliance with NSF/ANSI 401-2023

In addition to PFAS reduction, our carbon filter samples were evaluated under the NSF/ANSI 401-2023 standard, which focuses on the reduction of emerging contaminants commonly found in drinking water. The test results confirmed that the samples were fully compliant with all applicable standard requirements.

Meeting NSF/ANSI 401-2023 requirements further reinforces the effectiveness of our filtration technology and our dedication to maintaining the highest levels of product quality and consumer safety.

Effective VOC Reduction

Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) are a group of chemicals that can affect water quality and may impact taste, odor, and overall safety. To evaluate VOC reduction performance, a carbon block manufactured by Rajah Filter Technics was tested in accordance with NSF/ANSI 53 standards.

The testing was conducted at a flow rate of 3 liters per minute (LPM) using a 20-minute on-and-off operational cycle. Throughout the test period, the carbon block demonstrated high efficiency in reducing VOC contaminants. While the pressure increased from 29 psi to 75 psi over 2,500 liters of usage and the flow rate gradually decreased from 3.00 LPM to 0.521 LPM, the filter maintained strong contaminant reduction performance. These results demonstrate the durability and effectiveness of our carbon block technology in real-world operating conditions.

Reliable Cyst Reduction Performance

Consumer protection also depends on effective removal of biological contaminants. Two filter samples submitted by Rajah Filter Technics were tested under NSF/ANSI 53 protocols for Cyst (Microspheres) reduction.

The results showed that even at 75% performance levels, the filters continued to effectively reduce cyst contaminants. The testing and analysis confirmed strong filtration performance under challenging conditions, meeting all NSF/ANSI 53 standard requirements.

Regular Testing and Verification at IAPMO

To ensure consistent quality and ongoing compliance with international standards, Rajah Filter Technics products are regularly tested and evaluated through accredited laboratories associated with IAPMO (International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials). These periodic performance assessments verify that our filtration products continue to meet stringent NSF/ANSI requirements for contaminant reduction, structural integrity, material safety, and overall performance.

Regular testing provides an additional layer of assurance for our customers, demonstrating our commitment not only to achieving certification standards but also to maintaining those standards throughout the product lifecycle. This continuous verification process helps ensure that every filter delivered to consumers performs as expected and provides reliable, high-quality drinking water.

A Commitment to NSF/ANSI Quality Standards

The successful completion of these tests demonstrates that Rajah Filter Technics products consistently meet the rigorous requirements established by NSF/ANSI standards. From PFAS reduction and VOC removal to cyst reduction and compliance with NSF/ANSI 401-2023, our filtration solutions are engineered to deliver reliable performance and trusted water quality.

As consumers become increasingly aware of water contamination risks, choosing products tested to recognized NSF/ANSI standards provides confidence and peace of mind. Through continuous innovation, regular testing at IAPMO-accredited facilities, and an unwavering commitment to quality, Rajah Filter Technics remains dedicated to delivering filtration products that meet the highest industry benchmarks for safety, performance, and consumer trust.
