Water Filter Certification
The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials has had over 30 years experience in standard-developing efforts within the plumbing product niche. It is an American National Standards Institute(ANSI)-recognized Standards Development Organization (SDO).
Drawing on their many years of experience, IAPMO members have also contributed to the development of mechanical product standards covering heating, ventilation, cooling and refrigeration system products.
Rajah Filter Technics recently received three separate certificates from IAPMO Research and Testing.
Drinking Water Treatment Unit – Aesthetic Effects
Products are in compliance with the following standard(s): NSF/ANSI 61-2016 including Addenda No. 1.
Point-of-use and point-of-entry systems intended to reduce substances affecting the aesthetic quality of the water or to add chemicals for scale control, or both. Products listed on this certificate have been tested by an IAPMO R&T recognized laboratory. This recognition has been granted based upon the laboratory’s compliance to the applicable requirements of ISO/IEC 17025.
Drinking Water System Components – Health Effects
Products are in compliance with the following standard(s): NSF/ANSI 42-2016
Materials or products that come into contact with drinking water and/or drinking water treatment chemicals. Products and materials may include process media, protective materials, joining and sealing materials, pipes and related products, mechanical devices used with treatment/transmission/distribution systems, and mechanical plumbing devices. Products listed on this certificate have been tested by an IAPMO R&T recognized laboratory. This recognition has been granted based upon the laboratory’s compliance to the applicable requirements of ISO/IEC 17025.
